A former Governor of Kano State and chieftain of the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has condoled the Special Adviser to the President on Livestock Development, Prof. Attahiru Jega, over the death of his wife, Hajiya Hadiza Jega.
Hajiya Hadiza passed on Sunday and was buried according to Islamic rites.
In a post on his X handle, Kwankwaso described Hajiya Hadiza as a woman of virtue, dignity, and graceful motherhood.
He said her life was a blessing not only to her family but to all those whose lives she touched with her kindness and strength.
“I extend my deepest condolences to Professor Attahiru Jega and his entire family on the painful passing of his beloved wife, Hajiya Hadiza Attahiru Jega.
“May Almighty Allah grant her Al-Jannatul Firdaus, forgive her shortcomings. May He also grant Professor Jega and the entire family the strength, patience, and fortitude to bear this loss. Ameen,” the post read.
Vice President Kashim Shettima represented President Bola Tinubu at the janazah (Islamic funeral rites) on Sunday at the National Mosque in Abuja.
