Paris Saint-Germain and Morocco defender, Achraf Hakimi, has explained why his mother has managed his finances and assets throughout his professional career, saying the arrangement began long before his marriage and was built on trust established during his childhood.
The 27-year-old made the clarification during an interview in which he addressed widespread reports that his wealth and properties are held in his mother’s name.
Hakimi said the decision was not influenced by his divorce from Spanish actress Hiba Abouk, but had existed since he first began earning money as a young footballer.
