The All Progressives Congress support groups have restated commitment to the second-term bid of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
They also sought the collaboration of other political and interest groups, including the Presidential Campaign Council for the realisation of the 2027 Tinubu project.
The Deputy Director General APC-SG South West, Hon. Adewale Adeogun, at the inauguration of the Southwest coordinators of the APC Support Group in Ibadan on Wednesday, stated that the scorecard of Tinubu in the past three and a half years is not for the people to re-elect him in 2027.
“Tinubu has impacted on the lives of the people in the 36 states of the Federation, including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, with massive infrastructural development and other projects that were carried out in other sectors of the economy.
This, according to him necessitated his adoption by all the stakeholders in the Southwest.
“To this end, we shall ensure massive mobilisation through strategic engagement with the people of South-West while showcasing the various achievements of President Bola Tinubu and his genuine intentions towards pulling the Country out of economic crisis.
He stated that Tinubu would improve on the security architecture in the Country.
“It is our belief that these efforts are anchored on the programmes and policies of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Tinubu administration.
