Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa has announced the composition of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections in the state, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported.

This is contained in a statement in Yola by Mr Humwashi Wonosikou, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.

The statement said the council will be chaired by Gov. Fintiri, with retired Brig.-Gen. Buba Marwa, Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) as Co-Chairman.

According to the statement, the Deputy Governor, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, will serve as Deputy Chairman I, while the APC governorship candidate, Ahmed Galadima, will serve as Deputy Chairman II.

“Mr Titus Solomon has been appointed Director General of the Campaign Council, while Amb. Peter Kevin will serve as Campaign Director.”

It said the council comprises party stalwarts, stakeholders, youth and women leaders drawn from the 21 local government areas of the state as members.

The governor charged members of the council to work in unity and deliver victory for the APC at all levels in the forthcoming elections.

He said the council was designed to reflect the party’s commitment to inclusivity and grassroots mobilisation.
