Gospel singer Busola Oke has raised concern among fans after breaking down in tears during a live Instagram session where she spoke about her struggles in the music industry.

During the broadcast, the singer, known for her song ‘Eleyele’, apologised to supporters, saying she could no longer handle the pressure surrounding her career.

“To my fans, I’m sorry. I never planned to do this, but I can’t take this anymore. I’m done. Good music don’t sell anymore. How can you eat when there’s no food? How can you be at peace when there’s no peace,” she said.

Her comments pointed to frustration over financial challenges and the difficulty of sustaining a career despite talent and spiritual calling.

The gospel singer has reportedly been involved in a long-running dispute with her producer, Bayo Films. The issue has followed her career in recent years.

She also suggested during the session that some people who were once close to her are no longer present. According to her, financial instability has affected her peace of mind.

“There can be no peace when there is no financial stability,” she implied, adding rhetorically that one cannot drive without owning a car.

Busola Oke gained recognition through songs that connected with listeners within and outside the Christian community. Her tracks include Eleyele, Ogo Tuntun, Asoro Ma Tase, Alanu, and Adaba.

After the Instagram live session, fans and supporters shared prayers and encouraging messages on social media.

Many described her as a blessing to gospel music and expressed hope that she will overcome the current challenges.
