The Action Alliance (AA) has picked the Zamfara State Chairman, Shehu Hussaini Waziri Kucheri, as the presidential running mate to the party’s presidential candidate, Aare Adekunle Rufai Omoaje, for the 2027 general election.
The decision was reached after the chairmen of the AA in the 19 Northern states nominated Hon. Shehu Hussaini Waziri Kucheri as the party’s vice-presidential candidate.
The Zamfara State chapter of the AA acknowledged the support of the 19 Northern state chairmen and the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party for giving Hon. Shehu Hussaini Waziri Kucheri the opportunity to serve as the running mate to Adekunle Rufai Omoaje in the 2027 general election.
According to the Zamfara State AA Public Relations Officer, Ashiru Lawali Nagoma, the decision came at the right time when Nigeria is searching for credible, honest and sincere leadership.
“We appreciate the supporters, members and stakeholders of the AA for their commitment and dedication to salvaging Nigeria.
“The choice of Zamfara State AA Chairman, Hon. Shehu Hussaini Waziri Kucheri, as the vice-presidential candidate to Aare Adekunle Rufai Omoaje is the right one, with the slogan, ‘Action Today, Progress Tomorrow.’
The Zamfara AA chapter called on its supporters and members to remain committed and steadfast towards the actualisation of the party’s dream ahead of the 2027 general election across the country.
