In a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, and made available to journalists in Kaduna, the movement described Yari’s appointment as a welcome development and a demonstration of confidence in his political experience, organisational ability and commitment to the APC.
The movement said Yari had remained a devoted member of the APC family, expressing confidence that he would bring his wealth of experience and extensive political network to bear in coordinating the campaign and delivering the mandate.
“We are confident that Senator Yari will deliver on the mandate and lead the campaign to a resounding victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC in 2027,” the statement said.
The movement charged the campaign council to hit the ground running, stressing that there was no time to waste in strengthening party structures, mobilising supporters and taking the message of the administration to Nigerians at the grassroots.
The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement 2027 further pledged its full support and cooperation to the campaign council, assuring the leadership that its structures across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory were ready to work alongside the council.
