The inauguration, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by Mallam Olawale Rasheed, spokesperson to the state coordinator, Governor Ademola Adeleke, will take place at the Oasis Event Centre, Osogbo, by 12 noon.

The council is expected to bring together serving and former political office holders, party leaders, National Assembly members, state lawmakers, local government chairpersons, and other political stakeholders to coordinate activities in support of President Bola Tinubu.

The list of members released ahead of the inauguration features prominent APC figures, including former Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola, former governor and party chieftain Bisi Akande, former Senate spokesperson Ajibola Basiru, former Senate Deputy Minority Leader Iyiola Omisore, and former Minister of State for Defence, as well as Adegboyega Oyetola’s party associates.

Other APC figures listed include former senators Jide Omoworare and Sola Adeyeye, as well as the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Foluke Etteh.

The Accord and PDP sections of the proposed structure also feature several prominent politicians, including Governor Adeleke, Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi, former Deputy Governor Erelu Olusola Obada, Senator Lere Oyewumi, House of Representatives member Bamidele Salam, and other serving and former political office holders.

The composition also includes party executives, National Assembly members and candidates, former legislators, and local government chairpersons from across the state.

According to the statement, the proposed structure is designed to accommodate political leaders and stakeholders across the participating parties, bringing together individuals with experience in governance, party administration, and electoral politics.
